Melissa Douglas, a much loved subject of mine, volunteered to do some portfolio work for me in early June. The beautiful teen chose to do her shoot on Tower Road Beach, in the Northshore around the Chicagoland area. We worked to combine natural lighting during golden hour to create warm photos embody the qualities of most beauty beach shots. Melissa fourth shoot with me, the young beauty has come quite a long way in her modeling abilities and it was a pleasure to work with her as always. It is my goal to help her become supermodel ready, and work with Victoria Secret in the future. With the amount of fashion shoots we do, I have no doubt we will be able to reach this goal. Shooting again after my extended break since Australia was certainly a joy, and the warm weather was a wonderful bonus. Beach Beauty - Morgan Etienne

My first time shooting after returning from Australia, I threw my best friend, Morgan Etienne, in the bathroom to do her hair and makeup and take her to the beach to get back in the photography saddle. Huge curls and loads of makeup later, we ventured out to Tower Road Beach and played in the rock formation that entered into the water. What was supposed to be a shoot that resembled a mermaid, and was supposed to use materials to try and create different wind affects, we ended up just having a portrait session. Morgan, with her stunning green eyes, shined through with simplistic poses showing off her beauty while molding into the rocks to become one with the scenery yet still stand out. The shoot was mostly just for practice and fun, and with many silly memories was over all a great day :)
